The Barclaycard Arrival Plus® World Elite Mastercard® is a great rewards credit card for consumers looking to earn free travel. Card members earn 70,000 bonus miles after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 90 days! You'll earn 2x miles on all purchases with no caps and no rotating categories.
Your Arrival Miles can be redeemed with any airline, any hotel, and a number of other travel expenses. There's no foreign transaction fees and you get 5% of your Miles back as a Travel Redemption Bonus every time you redeem for travel.
The ongoing purchase APR is 18.24%, 22.24% or 25.24% variable based on your creditworthiness based on your creditworthiness, but cardholders can also transfer a balance with 0% intro APR for the first 12 billing cycles following each balance transfer that posts to your account within 45 days of account opening. This card comes with an annual fee of $89 (waived first year).
The Good
- Since there are no seating restrictions, this card offers much more flexibility that your average rewards credit card. The extra bonus miles is a huge perk, with miles rewarded for all purchases, you don't have to keep track of any bonus spending categories.
The Not So Good
- This card offers great rewards, so like most cards offering great rewards, you need excellent credit to get approved and you'll have to pay an annual fee after the first year.
