Overall, the FIT™ Platinum Mastercard® is an acceptable option if you have bad credit or limited credit, since it offers a $400 initial credit limit without a security deposit and reports to the three major credit bureaus. However, due to the card’s numerous fees and extremely high interest rates, a secured credit card instead may be a less expensive option.

Issued by Continental Finance, the FIT™ Platinum Mastercard® is a decent credit card option for those looking to establish or rebuild their credit.
The FIT™ Platinum Mastercard® is an unsecured credit card—meaning, it doesn't require a security deposit that will serve as your credit line. Additionally, the card reports to the three major credit bureaus.
Just know that while the FIT™ Platinum Mastercard® offers an initial line of credit of $400, it also comes with a number of fees that can add up fast.
The Good
Although the FIT™ Platinum Mastercard® doesn’t come with a rewards program, it does offer benefits, such as $0 fraud liability, online account management and credit protection. Also, when trying to build credit, credit card rewards should be a low priority anyway, as paying your balance in full and on time each month is what is most important.
The Not So Good
Additionally, the card has a very high purchase APR of 35.90% Fixed. But that’s to be expected from a credit card designed for individuals with less than perfect credit.
The Bottom Line
Overall, the FIT™ Platinum Mastercard® is an acceptable option if you have bad credit or limited credit, since it offers a $400 initial credit limit without a security deposit and reports to the three major credit bureaus. However, due to the card’s numerous fees and extremely high interest rates, a secured credit card instead may be a less expensive option.
