Credit cards don't get much simpler than this. There's no fancy rewards program, but cardholders could potentially save a lot of money with the extremely low interest rates offered on this card.

The USAA Rate Advantage Credit Card is a great credit card for anyone with  credit who is simply looking for a straightforward card with the lowest possible interest rate. Plus, new cardholders can take advantage of 0% intro APR for 15 months on balance transfers, then 12.15% to 27.15% variable regular APR.

There is no specific rewards program with this card, but that's pretty typical with cards that focus on prodiving extra-low interest rates. The USAA Rate Advantage Credit Card does come with a few other helpful perks though such as $0 annual fee, no foreign transaction fees, and no penalty rate. Plus, since it's a Visa card you will have peace of mind knowing that you'll be able to use your card anywhere in the world where Visa is accepted.

The Good

  • You'll be hard-pressed to find a card with a lower ongoing APR for purchases, balance transfers, and cash advances. Plus there's no annual fee, no foreign transaction fees and no penalty rate.

The Not So Good

  • If you want to earn rewards on your purchases, this card isn't for you.

The Bottom Line

Credit cards don't get much simpler than this. There's no fancy rewards program, but cardholders could potentially save a lot of money with the extremely low interest rates offered on this card.
