If you frequently fly American Airlines for work, this card is super valuable. There’s a massive sign-up bonus for new cardholders, and you also get preferred boarding and a free checked bag on domestic American Airline itineraries.
The Good
- If you meet the spending requirements for the welcome offer, you’re set to rake in a pile of miles. For a limited time, earn 75,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after spending $5,000 in purchases within the first 5 months of account opening..
The Not So Good
- While the travel perks are strong, the rewards rate for this card isn’t quite as impressive. You earn solid miles on American Airlines purchases, but the rate on many common business expenses like hotels and shipping aren’t as high.
