The Good
- The cash back match at the end of year one is the real draw here. Discover automatically matches dollar-for-dollar the cash back you earn in your first year, with no cap and no minimum spend. Pair that with the ongoing rewards rate, and this card punches above its credit tier.
The Not So Good
- The rotating categories require quarterly activation and are capped, which takes some upkeep. Plus, there’s no intro APR offer.
The Bottom Line
