The Good
- The Fortiva® Cash Back Rewards Mastercard can be a great way to build your credit responsibility for folks with fair credit. It also offers the convenience of an unsecured card, which can be helpful if you don't have the upfront funds that a secured card usually requires.
The Not So Good
- The card comes with a high annual fee and additional maintenance fees after the first year, which can add up fast. It also has a fairly high APR for purchases, making it costly if you carry a balance.
The Bottom Line
The Fortiva® Cash Back Rewards Mastercard can be pretty valuable if you're looking to rebuild your credit and you don't have the funds for a security deposit.
