Upgrade, an online lending company, expanded into the credit card space in late 2019. The launch of the Upgrade Cash Rewards Visa® reveals an innovative new offering for consumers with fair credit or above. Upgrade created a ‘hybrid’ of a credit card and personal loan into one unique product. Consumers who apply and are approved for this card will access a personal credit line from $500 to $25,000.* Card charges are combined into installment plans payable over 12 to 60 months. The benefit of this structure is that your purchases are combined into a fixed term/payment schedule as opposed to a minimum monthly payment with a high interest rate. Upgrade Cash Rewards Visa® interest rates start lower than traditional credit cards with a range from 14.99% - 29.99% APR.
