This card is a game-changer with one of the highest rates of unlimited cash rewards we’ve ever seen on a no-annual fee credit card: cardholders can earn unlimited 2% cash rewards on purchases, no ifs ands or buts. 2% is just about as good as it gets when it comes to rewards cards, so if you’re on the hunt for a card that is very low maintenance that still allows for a substantial accumulation of rewards this one is tough to beat. The Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card also comes with a solid if uninspiring welcome offer – new cardholders can earn a $200 cash rewards bonus after spending $500 in purchases in the first 3 months. This isn’t the best welcome offer on the market, but we feel that the ongoing rewards program is strong enough to offset it.
This card also comes with a year of 0% intro APR on both purchases and balance transfers: 0% intro APR for 12 months from account opening for purchases and 0% intro APR for 12 months from account opening on qualifying balance transfers; in both cases, an APR of 19.49%, 24.49%, or 29.49% Variable APR applies after that intro period is up.
