Those who qualify for The Platinum Card® from American Express enjoy a number of elite features and personalized services. There is no preset spending limit on the card and you earn a reward point for every dollar spent. The amount you can spend adapts based on factors such as your purchase, payment and credit history. There are no blackout dates or seating restrictions when you book for travel, and your points don’t expire. You can transfer points to frequent flier programs or even donate them to charity. Cardholders get free access to airline VIP lounges and the card carries no foreign transaction fees.
Although there is a membership fee, it could be offset depending on the perks you use, cash credits, and special deals you could get just for using the card at hotels, resorts, and airlines. You receive airline fee credits each year for incidental fees purchased from your designated airline; enrollment required.
Cardholders will also enjoy complimentary benefits for luxury hotel stays booked through American Express Travel.
