Those who qualify for American Express Platinum Card® enjoy a number of elite features and personalized services. There are no blackout dates or seating restrictions when you book for travel, and your points don’t expire. You can transfer points to frequent flier programs or even donate them to charity. Eligible Cardholders get access to the Global Lounge Collection, and the card carries no foreign transaction fees.
Although there is a membership fee, it could be offset depending on the perks you use, cash credits, and special deals you could get for using the card on qualifying travel purchases. You receive airline fee credits each year for incidental fees purchased on your card from your designated airline; enrollment required.
Meanwhile you are able to earn 5X Membership Rewards® points on all flights and prepaid hotel bookings through American Express Travel®, including Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection bookings. You earn 5X points on flights purchased directly from airlines or through American Express Travel® on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year. Terms apply.
